FAQ

How are translations delivered?

We usually deliver our translation services via email in any format you want and within editable files so you make changes anytime. Our linguists are highly trained to work with all software applications and deliver the end product in all formats. Additionally, we encourage our clients to send us their feedback and any comments or suggested amendments. Our linguists review these requested edits, apply them if possible, and send you a final flawless version of your project. We never count a project done until our client is fully satisfied.

What types of files do you translate?

We translate and localize a myriad of documents across various industries and handle all file types and formats. Powered by their strong technical backgrounds, our localization engineers are capable of dealing with the full spectrum of file types, including the following:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF)
HTM and HTML
XML
Various Software Scripts
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Framemaker
Adobe RoboHelp Packages

CorelDraw
JavaHelp
Autocad (CAD)
Mathcad
MadCap Flare Packages

How long will it take for my documents to be translated?

On average, we translate up to 2000 words per day per linguist. However, it always depends on your project requirements. We assess your request details carefully and tailor a customized solution that satisfies your needs and stays within your expected timeframe. We promise the highest quality at the fastest turnaround times.

What are your payment terms and methods? What currencies do you accept?

We allow a variety of online payment methods like Bank Transfer, 2Checkout, PayPal, and many other online solutions.
We accept payments in South African Rand and many other currencies, including USD and EUR.

How does the translation process work?

Our translation projects are subject to a rigorous process that includes multiple steps and involves many specializations. These are the major steps we apply every time we receive a new translation service request:
Project assessment: Once we receive a new request, a dedicated project manager from our side conducts a detailed analysis of the project requirements and contacts the client if further clarification is needed.

Quotation & NDA: Following the thorough project assessment, our project manager sends a free customized quotation to the client. If the quotation is approved, we sign with our client a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to ensure the project’s confidentiality.

Actual translation: Right after the necessary technology setup, the assigned team of qualified translators with industry-specific expertise starts executing your project as per your requirements.

Editing: Our veteran editors then intervene to fix grammatical and structural mistakes in the light of the linguistic and cultural context. Technical validation is also applied in this phase if needed.

Proofreading: A complete proofreading step comes in after editing to put a final touch on the target documents and compare them with the target files

Client review: After that, the finalized documents are sent to the client to get initial feedback, comments and insights, in the middle of the process.

Applying feedback: The second phase of editing is done afterward to apply the client’s valid comments and amends and finalize the reviewing of the translated documents.

Quality assurance: Quality assurance is a fixed final step, in which a linguistic verification and technical test are conducted if needed, before the final delivery.

Final delivery: A complete final version of the target files is eventually delivered to the client’s inbox.
We only consider a translation project accomplished when our client is fully satisfied.
